ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has secured ₹3,892 crore in long-term funding from State Bank of India (SBI) for a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Barmer, Rajasthan. The 19-year financing marks SBI's largest commitment to ACME Solar and its first foray into FDRE projects.

The hybrid solar and battery storage facility will supply power to NHPC at ₹4.64 per unit, combining photovoltaic generation with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technology to ensure grid reliability. ACME Solar's integrated model—spanning development, EPC, and O&M—supports its 2,890 MW operational portfolio across solar, wind, and storage solutions.

This project underscores India's accelerating transition to dispatchable renewables, with financial institutions increasingly backing complex energy infrastructure. The Rajasthan development expands ACME's footprint in a state with high solar potential, leveraging its vertical integration to mitigate execution risks.
